I bought the GolfGaffer as my golf is pretty poor, and I need any advantage I can get. I saw the GolfGaffer being demonstrated on a YouTube channel, and thought it looked like it could be hugely beneficial. I was right.
When I attended my golf lesson, I mentioned that I’d just bought it to the pro, half expecting him to deride it as a gimmick. On the contrary, he said it was a great idea, and could I bring it along for my next lesson. I duly did, and it was utilised for each and every swing.
It proved to be hugely successful, as not only did it help me begin to dial in my swing, it was also a huge boon to the pro. He was able to use it to reinforce just exactly what my club path looked like, and the effect it was having upon the ball. Consequently, he could then offer advice, and obtain instant feedback. He’s now asked me to bring it along for all of my remaining lessons.
Regarding the quality, the box is a thing of beauty. Feels almost like a presentation box. The mat itself is reassuringly rugged, with the rubber backing having a very solid, weighty feel. The sequins display an absolute path, and fully encourage one to take a divot. Something which I had struggled with before now. If I were to have a very slight criticism, it is that some of the sequins flip over and display the wrong side occasionally. I guess this is inevitable, given that there are thousands of them, and it’s not the end of the world. Just my OCD kicking in. All in all, the best golf aid I’ve bought to date, apart from a net.

I was hesitant about the Divot Mat Pro at first and took my time researching before buying one. After nearly two months of use at home and at the range, I can confidently say it's worth every penny. Great craftsmanship from the box to the mat. The feedback is frustratingly accurate and does help my swing progress with no false hope like from range mats. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate – just buy it. It's truly the best out there.
I have used a few of these divot board type products and this one by far is the best I've used. I use this all the time and it's still holding up well 👍

Bought my second one last week. Love that I can practice any shot and instantly see if I'm striking it right, all just a few steps away from the sofa. It works perfectly with my golf net.,
The divot mat has withstood over 1000 swings, including full, half swings, and chip shots. It's still in great condition with minimal wear (a few sequins flew off and some chipped rubber at the edge). The packaging was solid and delivery was next day. A cracking gift as well!,
No stars. I was forced to give one for this review. The item broke within the first week. I sent pictures of the faulty item and was only offered either a 25% refund or 20% off a future order. Why would I order again if I haven't even been given the option of a replacement item. I am sure that there are UK consumer related policies that Golf Gaffer should follow. I will pursue a full refund or replacement product. If I had used my credit card I would have got a full refund.

Just ONLY discovered the right way of making contact with the ball, Divot Mat really helped me with that. Don’t have to go to the range as frequent, PLUS POINTS. And still manage to improve my swing and see how it truly reflects on the grass/mat surface. All the while swinging in my boxer shorts! Brilliant!

Perfect home practice setup without getting too serious with simulators. I'm surprised how the turf impact is realistic or more precise than real turf, even though it's unforgiving, it's improving my swing and accuracy. Durable and still looks good after 400 swings, and the mat is very heavy too which is great for my swing. Definitely recommended!! Just shipping was delayed for about 2 days
Absolutely chuffed with the GG PRO, it's been my guiding Star. My golf swings have improved massively, especially in consistency, mostly when at home during this time round! All thanks to practicing with this gem. It's also amazing how I can correct my Shanks, Slices, and Chunks right in my living space. As a beginner, I found the GG PRO to be an invaluable tool for practising and testing swing tips from YouTube. I've already noticed a significant improvement in my ball striking, especially its consistency, quite far out!! The swing path feedback helps me correct my Shanks, Chunks, and Thins on the spot, merely a few feet away from my comfort. Simply a no-brainer for me!
Absolutely chuffed with the GG PRO. Sorted out a bad swing habit at home in less than 10 minutes, after watching a quick tip on YouTube at work.
